I understand Addons are not allowed on Xbox One, so with this in mind, how do you all have your UI setup? I can't find any guides on what is the best way to use the UI settings. Only thing I could find was that if you show all nameplates and go play AvA your framerate will take a dive. My main concern is when doing dungeons. What settings are must haves to have turned on when playing? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
I guess to follow up, the reason I ask is how can I tell how much time I have left on my food/potion buffs? Typically I can get an addon for this, but that is not an option. I'm not sure how you all you do healing and tanking without having these timers displayed in some way.
There are no buff timers for console at this time. UI interface is pretty much whatever you find useful, since you're the only one who can see it. So just experiment until you find what works for you. As far as nameplates and PvP... you're going to lag no matter what you do, so just roll with it and if you want nameplates, use them. ;)
To follow up there is a person on YouTube user Elloa, who is a ESO streamer. She mentioned that debuffs will show a glow or effect on the mob and buffs with do the same. For example when you apply bleeding you will see the mob bleeding, when it drops off the effect will go away. I guess this is the best thing I will have to go off of.
I don't know if there is still interest but I found the following :
If you go under Options, then combat, scroll down to the 'Buffs and Debuffs' sub heading and turn All to Automatic. This shows little boxes for each buff/debuff as well as timer countdown in seconds. I turned off permanent effects so that ESO Pluses experience bonus didn't display.
